​How'd I Get Into This?
 

How does anyone get into anything?  Purely by chance, really.  I started with a completely basic New York recipe, and just wasn't impressed with it.  So, I started experimenting, and sampling other "famous" location's stuff...and figured out different ways to improve it.  Our New York recipe is the basis for many of the different varieties that you'll see on our menu.  I just took it a step further and started going crazy with it!  Soon, others wanted to try my ideas.  And, things grew from there!

Thanks for stopping by!  I'm Neal Giordano, Founder/Owner of Giordano's "Almost Famous" Cheesecakes.  I'm a transplanted Yankee from Rhode Island who's been living in the South since 1988, including my Marine Corps days.  So, yeah...that doesn't exactly make me a baker or a cheesecake connoisseur, I suppose.  But, I've definitely found a niche that's been great for me as an on-the-side thing.  Why "Almost Famous?"  Well, we're working on dropping the "Almost...."

...is to provide a quality product that's NEVER frozen (freezing a cheesecake actually changes the entire texture!) and always made with the best ingredients. If you purchase cheesecake for dessert at the vast majority of restaurants (an obvious one that shall go un-named!) you're getting previously-frozen cheesecakes! And, it'll be costly! Along with quality freshness, I GUARANTEE the prices you'll find on the menu are far more competitive than you'll see at other cheesecake providers. Your cheesecake will be MADE TO ORDER.
